Thank you all so much for your votes!

While we did amazingly well finishing in 35th place out of hundreds and hundreds of competing groups, we unfortunately did not finish in the top 10 to receive a grant.

To our surprise, we learned that in order to have ANY real chance of winning a grant you must form voting coalitions with other Pepsi groups and have been in the running for several months (the top 10 grants who won in our category and there subsequent networks were all voting for each other from day one). With that said, you all really did an amazing job getting us into the top 40 despite the antics and the odds.

We have decided that while it would be wonderful to have a $50,000 grant from Pepsi, and we would automatically qualify to re-enter the Refresh Challenge next month, we do not want to get into the gamesmanship of what it would take to win. We also do not feel it's in our or your best interest to spend another month bugging you to vote.

If you would like to still help us build the much needed ropes course, here are a few ways to do it:

1) Participate in the River Valley Run on August 14th - proceeds from this event will go towards the new ropes course
2) Sponsor someone or a team participating in the run:
