RVR Backstage Day 3 – Tuesday

WOW! Camp is in full swing – see what we mean from Tuesday’s Backstage tour, which will take you to the treetops with Teen Adventure Camp on the high ropes course! 

Who’s ready to brave those heights? Last year, a large gift from an RVR Impact Partner made possible an improved entrance AND a (gulp!) second level. These adventure elements can be powerful tools for learning teamwork, overcoming fear, experiencing the power of encouragement, and trusting God. Sometimes they are the catalyst for taking that first step of faith into a relationship with Jesus. 

And then there's zipline, one of our most popular and well-known elements – it's the little “behind-the-scene" moments that often make the zipline so impactful, like the conversations afterwards about overcoming fears and anxiety. 

Tuesday is the day campers are given a full understanding of the reality of our fallen world, broken by sin and suffering. As they’re learning to rely on each other for teamwork, campers also learn more about our need for God as our rescuer.  

Tonight is also skit night! At both Frontier Town and Fort Roller, the staff hosts a show filled with funny skits, videos, games, and dance parties. These are influential moments for building relationships and memories between campers and staff.
