RVR Backstage Day 6 – Friday

You made it! Week 5 is in the books, and Sparrow's Friday RVR Backstage tour is ready for you!

Camp memories have a staying power like none other, and campers will go home today with memories that will last a lifetime. Many of them have grown in their faith, and others have given their lives to Jesus for the first time.  

The relationships they’ve formed have staying power, too, as campers exchange friendship bracelets. And those camper-counselor relationships are so special! There are definitely tears as they say goodbye! 

Here's what one camper parent said about the impact of these relationships: “Both of my kids shared how much they loved their counselor last year and I think that is what made camp such an amazing experience for them. My daughter couldn’t stop talking about her counselor, and cried when she had to say goodbye to her. My son, really looked up to his counselor, loved all of his amazing stories and was so happy that he got to spend time with him for a week.” 

Relationships are at the heart of this all – which is our prayer to reflect the greatest relationship of all, the one we can have with God Himself.
